"I have been a fan of complementary therapy for many years, having indulged mainly for stress related issues whilst working full time as well as being a home maker.
I then decided to retrain leaving the corporate world of management behind. I initially trained in Indian Head Massage and then had my third child. Together we attended baby massage classes and the benefits we so amazing I decided to train as an instructor myself. My final desire was to be a reflexologist and when I qualified Top to Toe Massage was born"
Top to Toe Massage is run by Zoë Flint, who retrained as an complementary therapist after years working in a stressful corporate environment. Like many in her situation she turned to complementary therapies such as Indian Head Massage to help her relax and relieve stress.
Her change of career began, when under the threat of reorganisation and redundancies her company gave its staff grants to help them retrain. As she had always enjoyed her treatments Zoë opted for an Indian Head Massage Course – which she found both enjoyable and rewarding and which set her on a path to a whole new life.
The next big turning point came soon after the birth of her third child, Thomas. While she was on maternity leave she began a baby massage class with him and was amazed at the response he had to it. As luck would have it a further training grant was available from her company so she trained and qualified in Baby Massage. Not long after, when her company offered redundancy packages to its staff, Zoë knew that the time was right to leave her old career behind and throw herself full time into a working as a complementary therapist.
The final piece of the jigsaw fell into place when Zoë completed her reflexology training and Top to Toe Massage was born! Since then Top to Toe Massage has gone from strength to stength. Zoë has extended her repertoire to offer Baby Yoga, which is a natural progression from baby massage, and now gets many referrals from health visitors and midwives who understand the benefits that her therapies can offer both parents and babies. She has also ventured back into the corporate world - this time offering a range of techniques and therapies to combat stress in the workplace.
Zoe is also an aquanatal instructor and qualified swim teacher. Specialising in parent and baby and children’s classes.
